68th Primetime Emmy Awards 2016:68th Prime Time Emmy Awards 2016 is an annual award ceremony which honors the best in U.S. prime time television programming from June 1, 2015, until May 31, 2016, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The Emmy nominations for 2016 were announced on July 14, and the awards will be given on September 18, 2016, at the ceremony event. The Emmy nominations for 2016 were announced on July 14, and the awards will be given on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the award ceremony event.
