Ganta Srinivas, Human Resource & Development minister will release EAMCET results on May 5, at 3 pm during a press event. A total of 2,77,689 students have registered for AP EAMCET 2017, counts the official statistics.

A total of 1,98,064 applications have been submitted for engineering stream, while as much as 80,735 students have registered for agriculture courses.

AP EAMCET 2017 Rank Card Download

After the announcement of the result, the Rank Card of AP EAMCET will also be released. Along with the result, the rank card for each candidate will also be declared. Candidates are advised to download the rank card after result declaration and keep it safe until the admission process is over.

After result declaration, APSCHE will begin the counseling procedure for qualified candidates. Counseling will be based on the rank secured by a candidate. Rank list of candidates would be prepared on the basis of merit in the entrance test.

Weightage for AP EAMCET 2017 Merit Rank

The ranks will be calculated by considering 75% of AP EAMCET 2017 normalized marks and 25% of intermediate (Class XII or equivalent exam) marks in group subjects to prepare the rank of the candidates. The candidates will be offered admission on the basis of the rankings given in the result.

If there are no qualifying marks for category candidates of AP EAMCET 2017 and if the marks go below zero after normalisation, then the marks are treated as zero and the rank is assigned based on 25% of qualifying exam marks weightage.

AP EAMCET 2017 Counselling

The counselling of AP EAMCET will start in the month of June. All the candidates who have been shortlisted will be eligible to appear in the counselling of AP EAMCET 2017. The candidates have to verify their documents in any one of the designated help centres within the given time period. The counselling will be held in online mode.

Last year, around 1.89 lakh had appeared for Engineering exam and another 1.03 lakh had appeared for the Medical and Agriculture exam.
