AP & Telangana MLC Elections 2017: The Commission has decided to hold Biennial Elections to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Legislative Councils from Local Authorities Constituencies to fill up the 9 constituencies of Andhra Pradesh i.e. Anantapur, Kadapa, Nellore, West Godavari, East Godavari, Chittoor, Kurnool, Sri Kakulam and one legislative council in Telangana i.e. Hyderabad Local Authorities. MLC elections held on 17th March 2017 in the states of Telangana and AP. Now its are ready for the voting counting. MLC Elections Vote counting starts from 8 am today i.e., March 20, 2017. The Commission has decided to hold Biennial Elections to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Legislative Councils from Local Authorities Constituencies to fill up the above mentioned 10 vacancies.

In Kadapa, 838 out of the total 841 votes were polled, while in Kurnool 1,076 of the 1,083 voters exercised their franchise. In SPS Nellore, 849 out of the 852 voters cast their votes
