CAT Exam 2015 Notification, Fee and Other Details

Common Admission Test 2015 (CAT 2015) will be conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. Those students who are interested to study in IIM’s and B-Schools they have to crack the CAT 2015 Exam. There are some changes in the CAT 2015 Examination pattern. Changes in CAT 2015 Examination

Normally Common Admission Test Exam (CAT Exam) conducted two or more days, but CAT 2015 Exam will be conducted on a single day i.e. November 29, 2015 in 2 sessions. One of the major changes, is aspirants will be allowed to use basic on-screen calculator for calculation.

CAT Exam 2015 Registration & Fee Details

CAT 2015 Exam Registration starting date is August 6, 2015 and will continue till September 20, 2015. The Registration Fee is Rs.1600/- for General and NC-OBC applicants and Rs. 800/-for SC/ST/PWD/DA candidates. The registration fee is paid through valid Credit/Debit card or online net banking.

CAT Exam 2015 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants must hold their graduation degree with at least 50% marks for general and 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Final year students also can apply only when submits a certificate latest by 30th June 2016 from the Principal/ Registrar of his/her College/Institute (issued on or before 30th June 2016) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate

CAT 2015 Exam Pattern

CAT is a computer based objective type test with multiple choice questions.

180 minutes is the duration of the CAT Exam. The number of questions is 100 and there are 3 sections i.e. Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC).
