CBSE 10th 2018 Topper Answer Sheet Copies | Merit List

CBSE Class 10th Toppers: This year, Around 16 lakh students have written CBSE Class 10th examination conducted from March 5 to April 4 across the country. CBSE 10th Toppers List 2018 | Toppers Answer Sheets

After the declaration of the CBSE 10th results, The board will also release the Merit list of CBSE Board Class X Exams according to Region Wise, School Wise, Subject Wise, and District Wise. We will also update those details, whenever the officials have been released.

In 2018:

This time as well, girls, with a pass percentage of 88.67, did better than the boys, who registered a pass percentage of 85.32.

Four students — Prakhar Mittal of DPS Gurgaon, Rimzhim Agarwal of RP Public School, Bijnor, Nandini Garg of Scottish International School, Shamli and Sreelakshmi G of Bhavan’s Vidyalaya, Kochi — topped with 499 marks out of 500, the board announced.

While seven students secured the second position with 498 marks, 14 students bagged the third spot with a score of 497.

The top three performing regions are — Thiruvananthapuram (pass percentage 99.60), Chennai (97.37) and Ajmer (91.86).

Delhi recorded a pass percentage of 78.62.

As many as 1,31,493 candidates secured 90 percent marks and above, while 27,426 candidates secured 95 percent marks and above, the board said.

In 2017:

The overall pass percentage is 90.95, more than 5 percent lower than last year. Out of 16,59,558 candidates appeared in exam, 15,09,383 students have passed. This year, boys have done better than girls by 0.9 percentages. The boys’ pass percentage in CBSE class 10 exams results stood at 93.4 than 92.2 of girls.

2017 Stats:

In 2016:

Last year a total number of 14,99,262 students had appeared for CBSE class 10th examination for the session 2015-16 out of which 14,96,066 students appeared for the exam. The overall pass percentage for CBSE 10th Result 2016 stood at 96.21%

The CBSE board will also release the Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Hindi A, Hindi B, English Language and Literature, and English Communicative subjects topper answer sheet copies on the website.

CBSE 10th Class Region Wise Results 2018

Presently CBSE has 10 regional offices. The board also release the state wise and region wise CBSE Board pass percentage details after the declaration of the Class 10 CBSE Results.

In 2017:

Thiruvananthapuram has the highest percentage of students who have cleared the exam (99.85). The pass percentage in Madras region is 99.62.

Delhi’s pass percentage has fallen down drastically by over 13 per cent. 78.09% students have cleared the examination in Delhi

For Bhubaneshwar in Odisha, the pass percentage stands at 92.15 where more than 72,000 candidates appeared and 67,200 students passed.

According to the CBSE data, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is at the top with the pass percentage of 99.67 per cent followed by Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) — 99.66 per cent.

In 2016:

Area-wise, the Thiruvananthapuram area was ahead of other regions with a pass percentage of 99.87 followed by Chennai region which had a pass percentage of 99.69 percent.

Category wise, the Central Government run Jawahar Navodyaya Vidyalayas have scored a pass percentage of 98.87 per cent followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas which have a pass percentage of 98.85 per cent.

Independent schools have a pass of 97.72 per cent while government schools recorded a pass percentage of 86.61 per cent.
