CBSE Class 12th Toppers: This year, Around 11.87 lakh students have written CBSE Class 12th examination conducted from March 5 to April 13 across the country. CBSE 12th Toppers List 2018 | Toppers Answer Sheets

After the declaration of the CBSE 12th results, The board will also release the Merit list of CBSE Board Class XII Exams according to Stream Wise, School Wise, Subject Wise, and District Wise.

In 2018:

This year, girls have outshined boys with an overall passing percentage of 88.31 compared to 78.09 of boys. The overall pass percentage is 83.01, up one per cent from last year, and the top three regions are Trivandrum with 97.32 per cent, Chennai with 93.87 per cent and Delhi with 89.

1. The topper, Meghana Srivastava from Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, got 499 out of 500 marks.
2. The second topper, Anoushka Chandra, also from Uttar Pradesh, is just one mark behind with 498.
3. The third is Chahat Bodhraj from Rajasthan, with 497 marks

In 2017:

The 2017 topper is Raksha Gopal from Amity International School in Noida. The CBSE topper scored 99.6 per cent, while the second topper Bhumi Sawant of Chandigarh scored 99.4 per cent.

The CBSE all India pass percentage has dipped a bit this time to 82 per cent as against last year’s 83.05 percent. The number of students scoring above 95% has increased to 10,091 from last year’s 9,351.

Top 3 Toppers:

• Class 12 topper Raksha is from Arts stream with 99.99%. She has studied at Amity International School Noida.
• 2nd topper Bhumi from Science with 99.4%.
• CBSE Class 12 has two students at third rank. Mannat Luthra from Chandigarh and Aditya Jain also from Chandigarh have scored 99.2%.

Result Highlights:

• Girls have secured a pass percentage of 87.50 while boys have secured a pass percentage of 78.
• Among the regions, Trivandrum has the highest pass percentage of 95.62 per cent. It is followed by Chennai with a pass percentage of 92.6 and Delhi with a pass percentage of 88.37.
• The CBSE said that there are about 10,091 students who scored from 95 to 100 percent this year as compared to last year’s 9,351 students. There are also 63,247 students who scored more than 90 per cent.
• There are 1,03,855 who will be appearing for the compartment papers this year.

In 2016:

In 2016, the CBSE Class 12 Result was declared on 21st May in which the fate of 10,65,179 students was announced. Of the total number of students, 83.05% managed to emerge victorious clearing the exam with flying colours.

Topper:

Delhi girl Sukriti Gupta topped the CBSE Result with 99.44%. Thiruvananthapuram region Kerala emerged as the highest performing region with success ratio of 97.61%.

The CBSE board will also release the Arts, Commerce, Physics stream wise merit list and subject wise toppers papers of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, Business Study, Accountancy, Economics, English (Core), English (Elective), Hindi (Core), Hindi (Elective), Geography, History, and Political Science subjects topper answer sheet copies on the website.
