Cricketer Amit Mishra Arrested In Bengaluru For Assaulting Woman

Apart from that issue, Again we heard some controversy news about our Indian cricketer Amit Mishra. Amit Mishra who is an well known Indian cricketer. According to the sources he has been arrested and released on bail earlier this (27-10-2015) afternoon by Ashok Nagar police in Bengaluru for sexually assaulting a woman in the city last month during the Indian cricket team’s training camp. Indian Cricketer Amit Mishra Arrested :

According to the complaint he had assaulted a woman in his room in a hotel on Residency Road he was in Bangalore for training in September end. An FIR was lodged against Mishra based on a complaint by the woman – whose name reportedly is Vandana Jain – at the Ashok Nagar Police station on 27 September. He had been arrested under the Indian Penal Code sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 328 (causing hurt with intent to commit an offence). He has been released after a 3 hours of investigation was done.

According to Sandeep Patil, DCP Central: “Enquiry with regard to the assault complaint was done. Mishra was questioned for 3 hours from 11am following which he was arrested and released on bail as it is a bailable offence.”

He has been selected in the Test squad against South Africa scheduled in the month of November.
