Ghazi Movie: Ghazi (Ghaazi / Ghaji) is the first underwater war drama that has been made on Telugu screen. The film is based on mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi during Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film stars Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni in the lead roles. The Ghazi Attack directed by debutant Sankalp. The film dubbed into Hindi as The Gaazi Attack and Tamil language as Ghaaji. The film is scheduled to release on 17 February 2017. The Ghazi Attack Movie Story:

The film is set during the early 70’s when Pakistan army sends a special submarine called Ghazi to help its soldiers who are fighting a war with Bangladesh. The only way that Ghazi can reach Bangladesh is through Indian waters and also by destroying the mighty Indian warship INS Vikranth which stands in its way.

This news is carried on to the Indian authorities trough some crucial intelligence reports. In order to tackle the deadly Ghazi, the Indian navy deploys the S-21 submarine which is managed by some able officers like Arjun Varma(Rana Daggubbatti). Rest of the story is as to how the entire team of S-21 stay underwater for days and manage to fight the deadly Ghazi.

The Ghazi Attack, which was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu, has collected Rs 4.25 crore at the Indian box office on its first day. “#TheGhaziAttack Fri ₹ 1.65 cr. Note: Hindi version… All versions: ₹ 4.25 Cr… Excellent word of mouth should ensure a jump in biz,” Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

According to the latest updates from trade circles, Ghazi has collected a gross of 9.50 crores in the domestic markets, including all versions in 2 days.

Ghazi and The Ghazi Attack have together collected approximately Rs 21.88 crore gross at the Indian box office in the first weekend.
