ICSE 10th 2019 Toppers Answer Sheets | Pass Percentage

ICSE Class 10th Toppers: The ICSE Class X exam, which was commenced on February 22 and concluded on March 25. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations(CISCE), is scheduled to release the ICSE Board Class 10 results on May 7, 2019. After the declaration of the results, The board will also release the Toppers list of ICSE Board 10th Class Exams. Students can check their ICSE 10th Exam Toppers 2019 details on the board’s official websites —

In 2018:

The pass percentage for ICSE stands at 98.51. Most of the students have secured grade 1 which means scoring 90-100 marks in most subjects.

Among four regions in the country, southern region has scored with the highest pass percentage in the ICSE class 10 exams with 99.69 per cent followed by western region at 99.67 per cent.


Swayam Das from Mumbai has topped the ICSE exam by scoring 99.40 per cent. The second position is shared by Jasmine Kaul Chahal from Jalandhar and Anokhi Amit Mehta from Mumbai. Both of them scored 99.20 per cent. The third position is shared by 12 candidates.

In 2017:

A total of 1,75,299 students had appeared for the CISCE ICSE (class 10) exam. The total pass percentage this year is 98.58%. Girls have outnumbered boys in passing the class 10 exam. In the class X examination, the pass percentage of girls is 99.03 per cent and that of the boys stands at 98.13 per cent.


  • The All India topper this year is Muskan Abdullah Pathan from Hutchings High School, Pune who has scored a coveted 99.4% marks in the exam. Sharing the first place with Muskan is Ashwin Rao from St. Paul’s English School, JP Nagar, Bengaluru who has also scored 99.4% marks.
  • The second rank in class X exams has been jointly shared by Mumbai’s Farzan Hoshi Bharucha and Pargana’s Debasree Pal with 99.2 per cent.
  • The third rank was bagged by Kerala’s Meenakshi S and Pune’s Raghav Singhal with 99 per cent marks.

ICSE 10th Result Statistics 2017:

  • The number of schools that presented candidates in India & Abroad for the ICSE Examination is 2,106
  • The total number of candidates who appeared for the ICSE Examination is 1,75,299
  • Number of Boys who appeared for the ICSE Examination is 96,770
  • Number of Boys passed in ICSE is 94,957
  • Number of Boys unsuccessful in ICSE is 1,813
  • Number of Girls who appeared for the ICSE Examination is 78,529
  • Number of Girls passed in ICSE is 77,765
  • Number of Girls unsuccessful in ICSE is 764
  • The pass percentage for ICSE is 98.58%.

ICSE 10th Class Subject Wise Toppers

The board will also release the toppers and merit list of Class 10 ICSE Results according to subject wise. These subject wise results and pass percentage details will be live on after the declaration of the results.

The pass percentage obtained in the major subjects in the ICSE Examination:

English 99.82%; Bengali 99.80%; Hindi 99.93%; History, Civics & Geography 98.84%; Mathematics 95.63%; Science 98.66%; Commercial Studies 97.87%; Economics 94.09%; Physical Education 99.97%; Computer Applications 99.99%; Economic Applications 99.97%; Commercial Applications 99.96%;

The ICSE Examination has been conducted in 57 written subjects of which 22 are Indian languages and 9 are foreign languages.

ICSE Class 10 Region Wise Percentage

In 2017:

For ICSE in India, the Southern region has the best pass percentage i.e. 99.64% followed by the Western region (99.64%), Eastern region (98.22%) & Northern region (97.85%). Abroad, ICSE has achieved 100%.
