IIT JEE Advanced Toppers: This year, Around 1.7 Lakh students have written the IIT JEE Advanced examination on May 21, 2017, across the country. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras had released the JEE Advanced Results 2017 on June 11, 2017. After the declaration of the results, The IIT Madras board will also release the Toppers list of JEE Advanced Exams on their official website jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced 2017 Toppers | Rank List PDF

This year’s JEE Advanced exam was conducted by IIT Madras. JEE Advanced 2017 is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and provides admissions to eligible candidates into the B.Tech programmes offered by 23 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). To participate in JEE Advanced 2017, the candidates had to be among the top 2,20,000 rankers of JEE Main 2017.

More than 1.7 lakh students appeared for the JEE Advanced 2017 held at more than 500 centres in the country on Sunday. Around 50,455 candidates made it to the rank list across all categories.

The total marks obtained in Mathematics will be the marks awarded for Mathematics in Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total marks obtained in Physics and Chemistry will also be calculated in the same way.

This year, The gender ratio of the successful candidates stands at 43,318 boys and 7137 girls (86 percent boys and 14 per cent girls approximately).

JEE Advanced Result Analysis 2016:

Last year, the Joint Entrance Exam was conducted by IT Guwahati on May 22 for admissions to B.Tech programmes offered by the premier IITs across India.

A total of 1,55,948 candidates were registered for the exam but 1,47,678 appeared for JEE Advanced 2016. Out of these, around 36,566 could qualify the exam. To enhance more, a 125928 of candidates who applied were male candidates while there were about 30020 of female candidates.

2016 Toppers | Rankers:

In 2016, Aman Bansal from Jaipur secured the top position by bagging the No. 1 Rank in All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Advanced 2016. Bhavesh Dhingra(AIR 2)  from Yamuna Nagar and Kunal Goyal from Jaipur(AIR 3) were the next among top 3.

In 2017, The category-wise successful candidates are 23,390 under General, 9043 under OBC-NCL, 13312 under SC and 4710 under ST categories. In addition, 7 candidates qualified in the foreign category.

2017 Toppers Details:

1. Sarvesh who wrote the exam from IIT Roorkee zone scored 339 marks out of 366, in which he got 120 marks in Maths, 104 in Physics and 115 marks in Chemistry. He was ranked 55th in JEE Main entrance examination.
2. Akshat Chugh of Pune, who ranked second in JEE Advanced was ranked 7th in JEE Main 2017.
