Mersal Movie Review & Rating: Actor Vijay’s Mersal directed by Atlee is one of the most expected films of this year and is all set to storm the screens this Diwali. The movie is all set for a humongous release in close to 3,250 screens across the world tomorrow on October 18, 2017. The film is releasing in Telugu as Adirindhi on October 19. Mersal is estimated to have made a pre-release business of Rs 156 crore. Vijay’s film is the only big release for this year Diwali although there are few other films like Sarath Kumar’s Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2 hitting the screens. Mersal Tamil Movie Story:

The film begins with the kidnapping of a few individuals and the arrest of Dr Maaran (Vijay), who, the investigating officer Rathnavel (Sathyaraj) believes is the mastermind. As he interrogates the doctor on why he let himself get captured, he learns that it is actually Vetri (Vijay), a magician – and a look-alike of Maaran – who has committed these crimes. How is Vetri connected to Maaran and what does he want?
