Nadigar Sangam Celebrity Cricket Tournament: The Nadigar Sangam, popularly known as the South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA), has organised a cricket tournament will take place on April 17 From Morning 10am to Night 9pm at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Chennai. To raise funds for constructing the Nadigar Sangam building is the main reason behind the Tamil Star Cricket Tournament. Eight teams will participate in the celebrity cricket tournament and it will be a six-over match. The tournament will grace the biggest stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Upendra, Sudeep and many others. “Right now, we have Rs 48 lakh in cash and we have borrowed Rs 2 crore from the bank. To raise more funds to complete the building, we are conducting this celebrity cricket match. The entire Tamil film fraternity will come together for this initiative and the event will be attended by Rajini sir and Kamal sir,” a source from Nadigar Sangam told IANS.

Madurai Kaalais: Vishal (captain), Soori, Rishi, Arulnithi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Ramana, RK Suresh, Manzoor Ali Khan, Janani Aiyer, Madhumitha, Chandini and Nikki Galrani.
