64th National Film Awards: The National Film Awards is the most prominent film award ceremonies in India. On April 07, 2017 the Eminent film director, producer, and screenwriter Shri Priyadarshan has announced the best films and performances of the year 2016. There were 344 feature films in 26 languages from which the awards were chosen this year. The awards ceremony will be held on 3 May 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi. Akshay Kumar bagged the Best Actor National Award for Rustom and Sonam Kapoor has been honoured with Special Mention National Award for Neerja.
