For the first time since achieving worldwide fame with “Gangnam Style,” PSY has released a new album. This album also features a slew of superstars from all over the world. Less than nine hours after it was posted, it had been seen more than 600,000 times. Psy Daddy song also features CL (Lee Chae-rin), a 24-year-old Korean pop star, from the Korean band 2NE1. “Gangnam Style,” featured on the album “PSY 6,” recorded 2.46 billion views on YouTube, becoming the most viewed YouTube video ever. Psy New Music Video – Daddy:

The song, called “Daddy,” features Psy dressed as himself…as well as his child and father. If that’s not creepy enough, here’s the song’s refrain: “Where’d you get that body from?” “I got it from my daddy.”

The single is off Psy’s new album, “Chiljip PSY-Da,” which is Korean for “This is PSY’s Seventh Album.” The album is the first the musician has released since 2012’s “Psy 6 (Six Rules),” which featured “Gangnam Style.” PSY’s new album includes songs of various genres, including dance music, hip-hop and punk.

“There were many thoughts going around in my head, including thoughts like, ‘If I write like this, it would be not as good as Gangnam Style,’ and ‘If I write like this, the international audience will not understand,’ so it took me a very long time to organize all those thoughts into one,” PSY said.

“Because this is an album that retains my continued desire as a lyric writer who wants to try things other than love songs in a movie-like way, there are several genres.” PSY said.
