For the academic session 2017-18, total 9 State-funded universities, 9 government colleges, 4 private & self-financing universities, 77 private & self-financing colleges and 5 Private & self-financing colleges (Minority Institutes) will be offering admissions based on WBJEE 2018 result.

WBJEE 2018 was held across West Bengal state on April 22 in two shifts, paper 1 from 11 am to 1 pm, and paper 2 from 2 to 4 pm. According to students, the Mathematics paper was quite tough, however, the overall paper was easy.
