Now, The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Sri N.Chandrababu Naidu is trying hard to make the new state Andhra Pradesh as a digital state in India. The word digital is nothing without the internet. So, the AP state government providing data, voice and video services with a low cost. The households, Government Offices, and private agencies can avail this AP Fiber Grid Project. Basic plan (Rs 150), Standard plan (Rs 399), Premium plan (Rs 599) are the different plans currently available under this project.

AP Fiber Grid has been set up with a high-speed aerial Optical Fiber Cable spreading across over 23,800 km across the 13 districts in the State and connecting 2,464 substations.

The state government, for the first time in the country, has launched the flagship scheme AP Fiber Grid with the intention of providing Internet, 250 Cable TV channels and Telephone connection to every household.
During the first phase, 1.

10 lakh households had been connected with AP Fiber Grid project and the government has aimed to provide the connection to 1. 40 lakh households.

AP Fiber grid Internet Plans and Charges

1 Plan For Households – AP govt. will provide plans ranging from Rs. 149 to Rs. 599 to the families whose details are as follows:-

Basic Plan:

Internet = Speed 15 MBPS, FUP limit – 5GB, After FUP – 1 MBPS
TV Channels = 250
Free Phone
Charge / Price = Rs 149/-

Standard Plan:

Internet = Speed 15 MBPS, FUP limit – 25GB, After FUP – 1 MBPS
TV Channels = 250
Free Phone
Charge / Price = Rs 399/-

Premium Plan:

Internet = Speed 15 MBPS, FUP limit – 50GB, After FUP – 1 MBPS
TV Channels = 250
Free Phone
Charge / Price = Rs 599/-

2 Plan For Institutions / Private Offices – The state govt. has decided plans ranging from Rs. 999 to Rs. 2499 to the households whose details are as follows:-

Basic Plan – The given basic plan is of Rs. 999 with 100 Mbps download speed up to 50 GB usage along with FUP speed of 1 Mbps.
Standard Plan – This plan is of Rs. 1499 with the data limit of 100 GB at the download speed of 100 Mbps. Moreover, FUP limit is 2 Mbps.
Premium Plan – This premium plan for private offices is available at Rs. 2499 having maximum data usage of 250 GB at 100 Mbps download speed. Private offices can utilize the FUP unlimited date rate at 3 Mbps.

Free Phone Charges and Tariffs

No charge for Fiber grid connection phones.
Fiber grid phones to other landline phones = 50paise per 1 Min
Fiber grid phones to other mobile phones = Rs 1 per 1 Min

TV Cable and Setup Box Services

Total Channels 250 (Telugu Channels 30)
Video on demand (you can watch your favorite movies and songs)
Watch new movies (pay extra charge for new movies)
Facility of recording TV programmes.
Access study material, online courses, and other services through TV.
Video calls free of cost.
You can use TV as a computer.
Multiplay services.

Multiplay Services:

Multiplay services means nothing but a setup box. You can access all type online transactions and pay bills through this multi-play services.

TV Setup box price and charge

The AP Fiber grid setup box price would be around Rs 4000. EMI option is also available.

EMI Options:

Initial payment Rs 1700. and Rs 99 per month for 36 months.

(Or)

Initial payment Rs 500. and Rs 99 per month for 48 months.
